Social Media AI Tools in 2026: The Four Rungs, and Where Each One Stops
I have never admitted this in a client meeting, so here it is: most of the AI in my social stack is decoration. I pay for it, I open it, I generate a caption, and then I rewrite the caption by hand. The tool counted that as a win, and so did the invoice. 89.7% of social media marketers use AI at least several times a week, and 78.4% still make moderate to substantial edits before anything goes live, according to Sociality.io's 2026 AI in Social Media Marketing report. So adoption is settled and was never the interesting question. What would you hand over tomorrow, if you trusted the output enough to stop editing it? That question has a different answer than which tool you should buy, and almost nobody in this category asks it.
Martin J.CompareOct 5, 2026YouTube Keyword Research in 2026: Tools, Methods & Limits
Somebody handed you a YouTube search volume number and you have already made a decision with it. It came out of a tool, it had two significant figures, and nobody in the room could tell you where it originated. That is not an attack on the tool. Google has never published search volume for YouTube, and Phil Nottingham said it plainly on Moz's Whiteboard Friday in June 2026: there is no way of actually knowing the search volume on YouTube, and the products that claim to know are approximating it from other signals. Which raises a question you can answer for yourself: if the number under your title is an estimate, what are you actually optimising for? The method that does not depend on it costs nothing, and most of it you can run this afternoon.

Synthesia's own pricing page quotes two different annual prices for its own entry plan, one scroll apart, and both are live right now. The banner at the top says plans start from $18 a month and you save 38%. The plan card under it says $18/mo, billed yearly. Then the FAQ further down the same page states that Synthesia costs "$29 per month or $264 if you go with an annual plan." One of those is wrong, and it is the one written as the answer. Your team's budget line inherited whichever number you happened to read first.

You looked up Jasper pricing and every page gave you a different plan name. The product was repackaged and the old guides never changed. Here is the live structure.
Martin J.CompareOct 5, 2026Perplexity AI Pricing in 2026: Which of the Six Tiers You Actually Need
Perplexity publishes six prices and explains none of them. The pricing page tells you what each tier costs, the help centre tells you what each tier contains, and neither tells you which one your usage actually lands in. For individual plans the vendor's own comparison table does not publish a usable number for the ceiling at all, which is why the same question keeps resurfacing in its subreddit. Meanwhile two of the explainers ranking above this page are still quoting an API price list Perplexity retired on 27 September. I read the vendor's pages instead of the summaries, and the ladder is not what the top results describe. Here is the one that is current, including two tiers most breakdowns leave out entirely. So which limit did you hit last month, and did you ever find out what it was?
Martin J.CompareOct 4, 2026Shopify SEO Services: Who Should Actually Run Yours in 2026
Nobody selling Shopify SEO services leads with this: the free pages the platform publishes for merchants rank above almost every agency on the query. Two of those three platform pages are not competing for the work at all. One is documentation, one is a directory, and neither can tell you when hiring nobody is the right call. So which are you actually buying: a Shopify specialist, a generalist with a Shopify tab in the proposal, or a service run by the platform whose defaults are the problem? The answer moves with your SKU count, your market count and whether a migration is anywhere on your horizon. And the version most merchants settle on is rarely the one their revenue justifies.

There is a model at the top of the coding leaderboards that your team will never run past its daily cap. Which number do you trust when you automate your stack? You need to know what happens to your invoice in week three.
Martin J.CompareOct 4, 2026Ad Copy Examples in 2026: What the Winning Lines Actually Do
You have probably saved a folder of ad copy examples. Everyone who writes ads has one. Mine started as a swipe file in 2019, it runs to a few hundred screenshots now, and I have used almost none of them. That is the uncomfortable part. Collecting a great line teaches you nothing about writing the next one, because a line without the reason it works is just a picture of somebody else's result. So sit with this question for a second: the last time you lifted a line out of that folder and put it in a live ad, did you know which part you were supposed to change if it lost? The folder is not the problem. What is missing from it is the part you would actually have to change.
